At TITAN Usje, environmental stewardship is fully integrated into our operational strategy and day-to-day decision-making. As a member of the TITAN Group, we are committed to responsible growth that delivers long-term value for society, the environment, and our stakeholders. Our sustainability approach is aligned with internationally recognized frameworks, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) principles, and science-based climate targets.

  • TITAN Usje holds an A-Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Permit issued by the Ministry of Physical Planning and Environment. This ensures that all emissions, waste, and resource use are carefully monitored and controlled.
  • TITAN Usje was the first company in the country to hold a Zero Waste to Landfill Platinum certificate
  • We were the first to publish Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for clinker and cement types
  • TITAN Usje was the first plant in North Macedonia to install a stormwater and surface wastewater treatment system—demonstrating our commitment is beyond compliance.

Air emissions are managed through high-efficiency filtration systems, enclosed material handling and storage, and best-available technologies to minimize dust emissions. Nitrogen oxide (NOₓ) emissions are controlled using low-NOₓ burners and Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR) systems, ensuring compliance with stringent environmental standards.

Over the past five years, TITAN Usje has invested in advanced digital solutions, including smart monitoring, predictive maintenance, and AI-enabled tools, to enhance operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Alongside our operational focus, we actively promote environmental awareness through employee participation in afforestation initiatives, Earth Hour, and educational programs. Through these efforts, 474,523 seedlings have been planted or donated since 2009, demonstrating our commitment to both environmental stewardship and community engagement. These initiatives not only raise environmental consciousness but also help strengthen our ties with the communities.
